I am a native of Wisconsin, growing up on a farm in Richland Center. I accepted Jesus as a young adult and then went on to Dakota Bible College in Huron, SD. In 1983, I was called up to pastor at Waupaca Christian Church. My wife Debbie and I have 4 grown children and 9 grandchildren.
Here at Waupaca Christian Church none of us are perfect, but we are doing our best to love and follow Jesus together.

Walter Janusz
“Wally” was born in Germany in 1947 and immigrated to the US at age 4 in 1951. Raised as a nominal Catholic, Wally became a believer in Jesus Christ at 26 through the prayer and influence of his wife Faith. Faith and Wally married in 1973 and have 3 children and 10 grandchildren. Wally worked in the telecommunications field for 32 years before retiring 2001. After living in the Chicago area for 53 years, they relocated to Waupaca in 2004 to be closer to Wally’s parents. They began attending Waupaca Christian Church that same year, serving on the church board and elected as an Elder in 2014. Wally’s worldview centers around the truths of scripture and the application of those truths continued to be his foundation of faith.
Steve Scheller
Steve has been a member of Waupaca Christian Church since 1997 and a believer of God’s miracles in our daily lives. He believes in living life with an attitude of gratitude for Jesus Christ’s saving grace in his life. And prays the same for others. He hopes others can help in serving and praising Christ in their own way as he and his wife Patti try to do. They believe we are to follow the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19, to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations; and that the Bible is God’s written word.
